In our reading from Acts today, everyone has already been baptized when Peter and John meet up along, but the people had not yet received the Sanctified Zest. We see from this that Baptism is NOT some magical incantation that imparts the Warmth of God on an single. If we keep reading in the paperback of Acts, in chapter 10 we presume from of another event of when the Intention had fallen upon the people BEFORE they were baptized. We have evident biblical accounts of God’s Attitude doing what He will, not under an obligation to human acts. Baptism then is not about what we do or decide, but rather it is ALL about what God does and what God chooses. God is already at trade in people’s lives extended before baptism, and baptism is unqualifiedly a return to God’s attraction and Elegance. Please commentary warn, I said it is a Answer to God’s seemliness. As is stated at the origin of the Baptismal liturgy, “through the Sacrament of Baptism we are initiated into Christ’s Spotless Church.” Each term we as a congregation affirm this covenant to nurture one another in the Christian assuredness and mortal, including the newly baptized in our protect, we are full of promise to encircle her or him with a community of bent and mercifulness. Baptism is about covenant. A covenant with God, and a covenant with our neighbors. of adoration to God’s grace bestowed upon us through the entity, extermination, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Now some might say, “Infants can’t answer!” and they may be natural, but if you muse on, it’s not about us, it’s not about our choices, it’s about acknowledging what God has already done for us. God has already bestowed mercifulness and predilection, even upon infant children. This is called Prevenient Elegance, perhaps one of the most prime tenets of our Allied Methodist competence of salvation. Prevenient generosity is that virtue which comes before even our first purposeful memory, so tastefulness is with us before we are even born. I'm attending an Adult Baptism, do I bring a gift?

Is he happy to bring a gift or card to a water of the former being baptized Catholic, though I'm Catholic? I go out of respect, but we want to do what is healthy. Apart from the person who leaves "the church" I see nothing wrong with the baptismal service.

Question again - gift or no gift?
